The beta

These terms apply to your use of Contex, provided by Contex. Contex is currently an invite-only beta. It is free to use, access is by invitation, and we may change, limit or end it at any time.

The beta may contain bugs and may lose data. Don't rely on it as the only copy of anything important.

Your account

You must give accurate information, keep your password secure, and tell us if you think your account has been compromised. You're responsible for activity on your account. Don't share access outside your organisation's invitations.

Your content

You keep ownership of the content you put into Contex and the output you generate with it. You give us permission to store and process it to provide the service, including sending it to our AI and infrastructure providers as described in the Privacy Policy.

You're responsible for having the right to use the content you upload.

AI output

AI-generated output can be wrong, incomplete or similar to other output. Review it before relying on it. We don't guarantee its accuracy or that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights.

Acceptable use

Don't use Contex to:

• break the law or infringe others' rights;
• upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or probe the service;
• scrape, resell or reverse engineer the service;
• submit content you don't have the right to share, or that is unlawful or harmful.

Fees

The beta is free. If we introduce paid plans, we'll tell you in advance, and you'll choose whether to continue. We won't charge you without your agreement.

Confidentiality of the beta

Features and plans we share during the beta are confidential until we announce them publicly. We welcome your feedback and may use it without obligation to you.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" during the beta, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending access

You can stop using Contex at any time and ask us to delete your data at legal@getcontex.io. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or when the beta ends, and will give notice where we reasonably can.

General

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them, and will tell you about material changes by email. Questions: legal@getcontex.io.
